Float 'N Flash
Icom has been the pioneer of the VHF Marine Radio Floating System and set the trend with the M24 by adding the Float N Flash flashing light feature. The M25 floats when dropped into water, even with the optional HM213 microphone attached. The flashing light function activates when the radio touches water, even if the power is off.
Not only does the LCD screen and key backlight on the front panel flash, but also a red LED light flashes across the rear panel indicating the location of the radio for easy retrieval.
11 hours battery life
Built-in 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery lasts 11 hours (approximately) of extended operation.*

AquaQuake™ drainage function
When water is in the upper grill speaker, Icom's unique AquaQuakeT emits a buzzing sound and drains water from the speaker. This feature ensures clear and crisp sound at all times.
