The new DSC Class D fixed mount VHF marine transceiver from Icom, the M510 is a technological powerhouse. The M510 is almost half the depth of the M506, allowing for easy installationlation in more confined spaces. The large color display features a simple user interface allowing casual and serious users with many options for communicating. Plus, command and control using iOS and Android™ smart devices with cutting-edge features like wireless calling.

The M510 features a 3.5 inch color TFT LCD display. " with viewing angles of nearly 180 degrees. The standard marine user interface is enhanced with animated features and a night mode for optimal viewing in the dark.

The RS-M500 app lets you connect three iOS or Android™ smart devices to function as a wireless speaker/microphone control. Use the M510's push-to-talk, channel scrolling/scanning, and intercom functionality. the comfort of the captain's chair Plus, a COMMANDMIC™ can connect while 3 other devices integrate.lligents are linked.

Connect to NMEA 2000 with the optional CT-M500 Wireless Interface Box. If the NMEA connection is on another part of the boat, the CT-M500 can connect wirelessly to the M510, providing placement flexibility. Additionally, with the SP-37 Horn Speaker option, the CT-M500 can access two-way hailer/PA functions.

With its built-in AIS receiver or external NMEA phrase (AIS receiver third party, transponder), IC-M510 can display real-time AIS vessel traffic information on the screen. You can directly make an individual DSC call to selected AIS targets from the AIS screen.
