The M85 can withstand dangerous and inhospitable environments. at sea and on land, because it is coBuilt to MIL-STD 810. IP67 waterproof rating protects the radio, even if dropped into water. Yacht and commercial customers appreciate the M85 because of its 100 programmable land mobile channels, as well as its easy-to-use built-in voice jammer for private communications. The M85 is packed with the features you need, including an automated emergency alarm.

The M85's user-friendly display includes icons and indicators such as transmit power, VOX ON/OFF, battery status, scan, weather channel and more. . These icons and indicators improve user experience and operation. The M85 also includes a 20-position stepless rotary selector switch and an ON/OFF volume knob, angled for easy access.

For emergency situations, the M85 includes MOB alarm functions, man on the ground and isolated worker. If one of these functions is activated, the radioautomatically issues an emergency alarm.

The M85* integrated voice jammer ensures private communications between stations. The multifunction button on the top of the radio can be assigned to the Scrambler function for easy activation. Or weThe multi-function button allows you to simply switch between marine and land mobile frequencies.

In addition to marine VHF channels, the M85 covers land mobile frequencies from 136 to 174 MHz. Up to 100 programmable channels are available for land mobile use with 2 W output power. Each channel is programmable with CTCSS and DTCS tone. An appropriate license is required to operate on the above land mobile frequencies.
