The INTERTOOL Axe and Knife Sharpener is ideal for sharpening Axes, Mauls, Utility Knives, Hunting Knives, General Purpose Knives, and any other bladed tool. It is designed with multiple slots to use depending on the tool that requires sharpening. Suitable for both left and right handed uses. It can be placed on a flat surface using its non slip rubber pads or held in hand for quick, on the go sharpening. Ceramic grinding wheels are used to improve efficiency when sharpening by rotating as the blade passed through preventing friction. and allowing for a fluid sharpening motion. Easily slide the blade back and forth until the desired sharpness is obtained. The plastic casing that houses the ceramic wheels is reinforced to prevent bending when in use. This sharpener can be disassembled and cleaned under running warm water. This prevents a build up of metal particles that can jam the ceramic wheels.
