F-Series Flexible Impeller Pumps provide an efficient solution to most water pumping needs. raw water. The main advantage of a flexible impeller pump is its self-priming ability. Thus, a flexible impeller pump used for engine cooling does not need to be located under the water line or primed manually. An additional feature of flexible impeller pumps is that they can pass fairly large solids without clogging or damaging the pump. This reduces the need to filter the incoming fluid. For general raw water or fresh water applications, the standard long life neoprene rubber impeller is used. Impeller and seals depend on waterfor lubrication and will burn quickly if run dry.
