Outboard Pilot is an HDS Autopilot add-on system designed for boats up to 30 feet with a single outboard motor. The system comes with everything you need to install an autopilot on a cable-steer outboard motor, as well as an AP Point-1 heading/GPS sensor, NAC-1 autopilot computer, a HELM-1 steering-by-wire drive unit, an auto standby button, and a micro-C Network Components.

Everything you need in one box to install an autopilot on your outboard motor, the outboard pilot allows you to concentrate on the fishing activity while enjoyingheading the boat.
When connected to a Lowrance HDS Gen2 or Gen2 Touch, the outboard pilot can navigate to a waypoint or along a route, select a turn pattern, or simply maintain a constant heading.
The Lowrance SmartSteer user interface allows you to easily switch between electric steering control, trolling motor control and outboard motor control directly from your HDS display. And, with your HDS display, you can easily convert trails into routes - so you can retrace a previous track and return your boat to the dock from your fishing area.
