Magnum Energy fuse blocks are designed to provide code-compliant overcurrent protection. They are used to protect the battery bank, inverter and cables from damage caused by short circuits and overloads. Each fuse block uses a fast-acting, current-limiting fuse cartridge that provides instantaneous protection in the event of a short circuit, but also uses a delay to allow for momentary power surges common in inverter applications. A sturdy injection-molded polycarbonate base and thermoformed ABS cover provide durability, easy installation and good looks, all in a compact, cost-effective package. The 125 and 200 amp models use an ANL type fuse and the 300 and 400 amp models use Class T fuses.
