This Mantis Dethatcher Attachment for 9 in. Mantis Tillers quickly removes weeds and thatch from lawns. Thatch prevents air, water and nutrients from reaching the grass roots. This lawn detachment attachment is not recommended for surface-rooted grasses (Bermuda, Aloysia, centipede, and St. Augustine) because it can damage the root system. Dethatcher Attachment is compatible with 9 in. Mantis 7000 series Tillers (sold separately).- 60 strong, flexible spring-steel picks gently pull up thatch and weeds
