I was concerned about installing on two batteries connected in series without actually disconnecting the cables. I followed the instructions and connected one wire to each without removing the cables. The computerobviously did his job. Charges the batteries without problem and keeps them without overcharging. Very happy with how easy everything is to hook up. If you need to charge two batteries connected and in place, get this charger.
