SEASONALLY - Inspect the PFD for tears and holes, make sure the zippers and buckles are working properly. If the material is discolored, the fabric has probably lost its strength. The foam deteriorates withIt's time, so test your PFD and make sure it keeps your mouth out of the water. If you notice fraying fabric or webbing, severe UV damage, or crushed foam, please discard and replace with a new, shiny MTI PFD.
