The award-winning MD3183 LE Inflatable PFD with HIT (Hydrostatic Inflation Technology) is Mustang Survival's best. High-end inflatable PFD. Designed for serious users with proprietary technology that improves safety and minimizes maintenance, this is our most popular inflatable PFD.

Hydrostatic inflation technology provides reliable inflation in a design requiring low maintenance that only automatically inflates when submerged in 4 or more inches of water and not inadvertently from rain, spray or humidity. Exclusive to Mustang Survival in North America and maintenance free for 5 years from the date of manufacture or until inflated.

Designed for the harshest marine environments, the Inflatable PFD with HIT will meet the demands of challenges of the most demanding userseants. It also features the patented SecureZip closure system to ensure the PFD will stay closed even during the most rigorous activity and still opens effortlessly when inflated. The MD3183 LE includes a back flap that can be screen printed with your department identification. This low profile PFD is designed to be worn with personal protective equipment (PPE) and is light and comfortable enough that you will forget you are wearing a PFD!

*Please note: This product is a USCG Type II and USCG Type V Commercial with Type II performance when worn on uninspected commercial vessels less than 40 feet in length and not carrying passengers for hire.
