SPEED REGULATED

The Nauticus's trim tabs start at a downward angle to maximize lift at low speeds. As the boat accelerates, water pushes up on the trim plates, providing lift to the stern, which minimizes bow rise and allows the boat to plan quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator's rated load (maximum lift) the trim plates move to a horizontal position to remove without any drag.

As boat speed increases, water pressure also increases. Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator's rated load (maximum LIFT period), the trim plates begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat.

The internal valve system dampens the trim movement of the plate which eliminates any instantaneous reaction to minor variations in water pressure. Nauticus trim tabs provide a smooth, undetectable response to boat speed, creating a smooth ridemore comfortable at low speed.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE

With an electric drill, a small drill bit, a Phillips screwdriver and two wrenches, almost everything the world can install SMART TABS in less than an hour. Professional installers should be able to install SMART TABS in 30 minutes or less.
