SPEED CONTROL
The Nauticus trim tabs start at a downward angle to maximize lift at low speed. As the boat accelerates, the water pushes up on the trim plates, providing lift to the stern, minimizing mobow and allows the boat to plane quickly.
Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator's rated load (maximum lift) the trim plates move to a horizontal position eliminating any drag.
BOAT STABILIZERS
Even when cruising, SMART TABS continue to function as shock absorbers. Constant adaptation to sea conditions allows SMART TABS to offer remarkable stability when cornering, crossing waves, cruising and running at maximum speed. No more slipping, porpoises or chine walking.

The internal valve system dampens the movement of the trim plate, eliminating any instantaneous reaction to minor variations in water pressure. Nauticus trim tabs provide a smooth, undetectable response to boat speed, creating a more comfortable ride at low speeds.
