Navico Precision-9 compass Marine Navigation & Instruments
This compact sensor array provides heading, turn rate, pitch and roll data to equipment connected via a standard NMEA 2000 network. More than just a compass, the Precision-9 is an ideal source of heading and movement data for autopilots, radar systems, multifunction displays and other Simrad systems. The Precision-9 measures movement on nine separate axes to calculate the most accurate heading and turn rate information possible. Its sophisticated solid-state design avoids many of the common limitations of conventional fluxgate electronic compasses and provides a heading accuracy of ±2 degrees after calibration. An easily adjustable mounting bracket allows the Precision-9 to be installed on any vessel, in almost any location. The Precision-9 can also be mounted directly to any flat surface and, with an IPX waterproof rating7, External mast installation is possible on steel hulled vessels to avoid magnetic interference.
