Navilight Tricolor Scotty 2NM - US Coast Guard approved for 2 nautical miles is fully compatible with the Scotty Deck mounting system and includes a green light to be displayed on the starboard side and a red light to be displayed on the port side. In addition, it includes the white Sternlight, to be used on the rear. It is battery operated, uses a super bright LED light, is waterproof and floats.

The green and red lights show uninterrupted light over a 112.5 degree horizon arc. The white Sternlight shows uninterrupted light over a 135 degree horizon arc. All lights operate independently, in a combination of all three or red/green together.

Examples of use, based on the Convention on International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, commonly known as 72 COLREG.

On a mechanically propelled vessel of 12 meters or more in length mais less than 50 meters in length:
