GP1600 series for 9.5" guard, SystemPods allow you to mount several electronic parts in a single NavPod It's a good way to reduce the height of a system. High Gloss Material

NavPods are made with custom co-extruded ABS material We use the best UV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish to match. to gel coated fiberglass Gen3 improvements now include thicker material which improves strength and provides better strength.ure structural rigidity.

The waterproof seal

All NavPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing excellent seal protection waterproof between the front and back of the NavPod to protect your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to repair your electronic devices.

Chrome-plated nickel screws

We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large round-head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod key for betterbetter holding capacity when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3 we provide nickel-chrome plated stainless steel tamper proof screws for added security combined with a little bling!

The manufacturing process

Large gauge thermoforming has been considered an art since every process came into play. It all starts with tooling design and development. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances.
