When you need it, SystemPods are the smart solution for mounting your radar or chartplotter and instruments together at the helm where you can easily operate and clearly see the fine details of the display.

A SystemPod is best mounted on a single-bend AngleGuard.

Structural Rigidity — Gen3 enhancements now include thicker acrylic-coated ABS material that improves strength and provides better rigidity structural. This thicker material allows for greater structural sealing, less flex when tightening and more uniform pressure on the joint.The high UV stability of acrylic is combined with the durability of ABS. The acrylic cap protects ABS from UV and its potentially damaging effects on plastic.

Waterproof seal — All SystemPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing excellent sealing. This seal offers the best protection for your marine electronics. SystemPods are designed to withstand the harshest wet offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The Poran Microcell Polyurathane internal seal is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the SystemPod in the future in order to repair your electronic devices. The seal will continue to do its job.

Nickel-Chrome Plated Stainless Steel — We use all stainless steel hardwarethe 316 supplied with each NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than the screws used on our traditional model NavPod. For NavPods Gen3, we provide tamper-proof, nickel-chrome-plated stainless steel screws for added security and a bit of style!
