GP2040-95 Pre-cut SystemPod for Raymarine gS95 glass deck and 12" wide protection space

The NavPod GP2040 series for 12" protection system allows for mount several pieces of electronics in a NavPod. This is a good way to reduce the height of a system. In addition to installing a radar or chartplotter, you may have space for an autopilot, instrument, stereo controller, or VHF mic. It is best to mount a SystemPod on single-bend AngleGuards.

SystemPods for power are intended for mounting on a Stachion SK135 kit and can be used to mount a SystemPod on a flat surface, such as than the flybridge. Stachion kits can also be used with a SystemPod for overhead mounting applications.

High gloss material

NavPods are made with an acrylic custom co-extruded. Material ABScap. We use the best UV resistant material that provides a high gloss white finish that matches gel coated fiberglass. Gen3 improvements now include thicker gauge mat material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity.

The waterproof seal

All NavPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing excellent sealing between the front and back of the NavPod for the protection of your marine electronics. NavPods are designed to withstand the harshest and wettest offshore sailing conditions. Gen3 improvements include a thicker silicone outer gasket with an improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to service your deviceselectronics.

Chrome nickel plated screws

We use all stainless steel mounting brackets. hardware provided with each NavPod. Large round head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding power when tightening than previous screws. For Gen3 we provide Chrome Nickel Stainless Steel Tamper Proof Screws for added security combined with a little bling!

The manufacturing process
Heavy gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with the design and development of the tooling. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who use CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with tolerancesthese precision.
