The waterproof seal

All NavPods are manufactured with a double seal system providing an excellent waterproof seal between the front and back of the NavPod for protection of your marine electronics. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "set compression" like many rubber compounds. Chrome-plated nickel screws

We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that comes with every NavPod. Large, round-head tamper-proof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod Key for greater ability toe hold when tightening than the previous screws. For Gen3 we provide nickel-chrome plated stainless steel tamper proof screws for added security combined with a little bling!
