The NavPod pedestal mount is designed to elevate the fish finder off the deck to protect it while still providing tilt and swivel functionality for convenient use and viewing of the screen. .
The PedestalMount allows the fish finder to be mounted near the bow of sport fishing boats. The fish finder trunnion bracket must be mounted on the top bracket of the PedestalMount. The top bracket has pre-drilled mounting holes that match the most popular fish finder trunnion bracket mounting holes. The tilt functionality of the trunnion mount is combined withthe pivoting function of the PedestalMount. The added height of 8? The large stand makes using and viewing the screen very convenient. The durable and sturdy black powder coated aluminum base is 4? in diameter with a 6.5? round base. The connectors and wires that run around the back of the electronics are protected from being stepped on, kicked, and inadvertently damaged. All wires and connections are routed internally through the base of the pedestal for added protection.
