- Designed to power 12 and 24 VDC communications/navigation equipment aboard commercial vessels where reliability is the primary consideration.
- Input voltage 115 or 230 VAC selected by slide switch on front panel.
- Excellent regulations and ripple specifications: output voltage maintained at 1% under all line and load conditions in nominal limits; Ripple is less than 40mV P-P. (12 volts) or 70 mV P-P (24 volts)
- A polyurethane conformal coated PC board and rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum housing with integrated shock mounts ensure survival in harsh environments
- Heat generated by the semiconductors is extracted and dissipated by large heat sink fins that maximize contact with air for cool operation and long component life.
- Pprotection of power and load circuits: overvoltage, current limit; (set at 105% of intermittent rating), thermal overload and input/output fuse.
- Thermal activated cooling fan on ""CD"" units.
