By adding the Furuno Sounder Plus Pack to the TIMEZERO* software, the PC screen turnstransformed into a powerful dual frequency digital fish finder. The following FURUNO Ethernet sonar models are natively compatible with TIMEZERO software: DFF1, DFF3, BBDS1, DFF1-UHD or FCV1150.
- Enjoy full control of the Furuno sonar directly from software, with a dedicated sonar toolbar in the user interface
- Historical data: user can scroll back to view sonar data received during last 3 minutes (approximately) in order to identify interesting echoes
- Add a mark: by double-clicking on the image of the sounder, a mark will be automatically created at the corresponding point on the map of navigation also

Bottom components:
BBDS1 and DFF1-UHD fishfinders classify the seafloor into the following sediment categories: mud, sand, gravel and rock. This is achieved by analyzing the echo characteristics of the bottom components, such as particle size and hardness. In addition to providing information about the seafloor, they also display its level of certainty in relation to the sediment type displayed in your software. This information appears inthe discrimination window and allow you to know the degree of reliability of the data in particular areas.
Location of the lower components:
Moving the cursor over the discrimination window lower will automatically display a _red cross_ cursor on the map allowing the user to geolocate any bottom component.
Bottom hardness:
Like BBDS1 and The DFF1-UHD receives bottom hardness data, it is also possible to save this information in the software, as well as the bottom depth. You can then display the bottom hardness on your graph using a color spectrum, or simply in black and white. These colors will indicate the softest bottom (mud) to the hardest bottom sediment (rock).
Connecting these fishfinder models is very simple: the compact network fishfinder unit connects directly to your PC via a singleEthernet cable.
