Duplex boat cable is used in low voltage AC applications as well as in DC circuits. Pacer manufactures Duplex 16 AWG boat cables in-house in the USA for the highest quality. The PVC jacket helps the 16 AWG duplex boat cable be flexible while preventing moisture from building up. How does it do that? During the extrusion process, the spaces between the wires are filled. This leaves no room for moisture or air to build up. After that, a layer of talcum powder is applied to the inner threads. This coating makes it easy to remove the outer sheath.
