- This charming plant hosts variegated dark green and white leaves striped with creamy yellow and beautiful violet-blue flowers in the mid summer. The liriope Muscari Variegata lavender flower spikes are similar to those of grape hyacinth.
- Following the purple flowers are blue-black berries that appear in the fall. The tall green leaves of the variegated liriope plants are also known as monkey grass as all members of the liriope family are called as a nickname.
