This module is designed to allow the installation of a mast light Perko LED/multi-purpose light combination as an upgrade to an existing incandescent mast light/scenic light combination without rewiring the original incandescent switching arrangement of the boat's navigation light system.
Wiring Note:
Because the direct wire-to-wire substitution of an old style incandescent lamp with this new style L.E.D. the light will not work, there are two installation alternatives:
- Rewire the existing switch to match the schematic provided in the L.E.D. lighting instructions or,
- Use the optional converter module (Cat. No 1680DP012V) and follow the wiring in the instructions provided with the new L.E.D. light so that no rewiring of the switchis required.
