RED Bottle of Permanent Strength Threadlocker - 50 ml

OEM specified. A high strength, permanent product that is applied to 3/8" to 1" (10mm to 25mm) fasteners prior to assembly. Designed to secure parts that must withstand significant shock, vibration or extreme chemical or environmental conditions. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate the parts. Meets ASTM D5363 AN0331 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade O).

Applications:

Automotive - Suggested Applications: Assembly with air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, engine bolts driveshaft

Instructions:

Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prep Activator ™.
Shake the tube of Threadlocker well before each use.
Remove the cap and tip from thea cutting nozzle.
Apply threadlocker to the threaded areas and assemble the parts. Refer to datasheet for complete information.

NOTE: Threadlocker works on metal parts. It is not recommended for plastics. The cured thread locker must be heated to 500°F (260°C) before the parts separate.
