Feeding Guide expand/collapse EASY TO MIX FORMULA - Whisk or shake 1 part KMR powder into 2 parts warm water at room or body temperature before serving. Do not mix more KMR than possible consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. All kittens should receive milk from their mother for at least 2 days, if possible. Colostrum milk provides additional nutrition and temporary immunity against certain diseases. FEEDING DIRECTIONS: Feed kittens 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid KMR per 4 oz. (115 g) of body weight per day. The daily amount of food should be divided into equal portions for each meal. Kittens' needs vary and this amount may need to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Young and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Kittens moreElderly people can feed well every 8 hours. Weigh kittens daily to ensure adequate nutrition. When kittens are old enough to perform tricks, begin offering them reconstituted KMR in a saucer. STORAGE – Unopened container should be stored in a cool, dry place. Opened container can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months then should be refrigerated (up to 1 additional month). Opened container can be frozen for up to 6 months to preserve freshness. Use the product before the expiration date indicated on the container. The reconstituted liquid should be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. The PetAg 2 oz. (60 ml) Small Animal Nurser is suitable for most kittens. Pregnant and nursing mothers: Give 2 teaspoons (4 g) of KMR powder per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) of body weight per day. Growing kittens already fed solid food, show cats and/or cats in convalescence: Give 1 teaspoon (2 g) of KMR powder per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) of body weight per day by adding food.
