This Egis 160A load relay is automatic and programmable. The relay eliminates dead starts by sharing the load on one of the two batteries and isolating the batteries when no charging source is present.

Applications:

Supports multiple independent motors or charging systems by incorporating two independent motor start or isolation inputs to allow isolation of charging sources when both are active to optimize charging performance.
Protects cascading electrical system faults with an optional interlock against closing if a terminal is connected to a battery with a shorted cell.

Features:

Ultra-low power consumption compared to typical ACRs (7-10 mA) versus 7610 ACR at 1.3 mA, will not exhaust the batters even after extended electrical system downtime.
Simple and robust installation - Integrated sealed plug eliminates corrosion and includes Deutsch/Amphenol DTM connector harness
Option d Start assist input to ensure maximum cranking amps are available by allowing manual connection of batteries via remote switch.
