Free-Fall technology applied to the Genius windlass allows the free passage of the chain through the gypsy when lowering of the anchor; by simply pressing the control button down, the windlass will release its clutch and the gypsy will freewheel. To stop the free fall, press the windlass up control button; the clutch will engage, stopping the sprocket and allowingrecovery of the chain. The Free-Fall function can be bypassed to facilitate power-controlled release. Unit is sold complete with windlass, up/down switch, solenoid unit, clutch handle, mounting hardware and user manual.
