The RAM-B-400-238U consists of the RAM Tough-Claw™ Small Base , marine Premium aluminum double socket arm and diamond base adapter. The RAM Tough-Claw™ is the ideal mounting base for quick and easy tool-free installation and removal on round, square and odd-shaped rails and bars.

The RAM Tough- Claw™ can be attached to rails from 0.625" to 1.14" outside diameter. The diamond-based adapter contains the industry standard universal 2-hole AMPS hole pattern, which will connect to a wide variety of RAM Mount and third-party mounts. The mount is designed with a patented 1" diameter RAM rubber ball and socket system that features adjustment points at both ends of the double-socket arm, allowing for nearly infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
