The RAP-B-400-238U consists of the small Tough-Claw base, one arm with double socket and a diamond. base adapter. The RAM Tough-Claw is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-free installation and removal on round, square and odd-shaped rails and bars. The Tough-Claw can be attached to rails with an outside diameter of 0.625" to 1.5". The diamond-based adapter contains the industry-standard universal AMPS hole pattern, which will connect to a wide variety of RAM and third-party sockets. The mount is designed with a patented 1" diameter RAM rubber ball and socket system that features adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allows for nearly infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
