The RAM-149Z-HC1U consists of a zinc-plated U-bolt base, a double-socket arm, 2.5" diameter round base and Rugged Handi-Case™. This kit includes hardware to accommodate rails from 0.50" to 1.25" diameter. Base includes black caps to place over the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The included composite rail adapter can shrink the rail to a minimum width of 0.5". The mount is designed with a patented 1.5" diameter RAM rubber ball and socket system that features adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allows for nearly infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles . The RAM Handi-Case™ is capable of so many tasks it will amaze you.
