The Atlantes was one of the first toilets to incorporate the idea of having all components mounted in the bowl. The idea behind the Atlantes was to offer a metal handle on the side of the bowl to make the marine bathroom less intimidating for those not used to being on a boat. We offer the metal handle with many options, but most people understand that they just need to push it to flush the toilet. The head area of any boat can be very intimidating to those unfamiliar with how a toilet works. By offering a handle on the side of the bowl your guests will feel more comfortable. The other, probably equally important, feature of the original Atlanteans was pleasing the women on board the ship. Today, the Atlantes now incorporates the same Vortex-Vac technology as the Marine Elegance but in a bowl that offers a larger footprint as well as the handle option just like at home. The advantage of Vortex-Vac technology is that waste is efficiently evacuated from the bowl by a vacuum action created by the pump rather than relying on remote vacuum generation. Although a vacuum toilet may use a little less water, the advantage of the Vortex-Vac is that there is no need to rely on the vacuum generator pump which tends to run for around 45 seconds to generate vacuum. The timed flush cycle brings in water, then flushes, then water again and flushes for minimal water consumption ande less effective in evacuating waste from toilets.

The Raritan Programmable Smart Toilet Control:

The Raritan Smart Toilet Control is a fully programmable flush control. The control allows users to flush the toilet with no water, with a small amount of water, or with a fully timed flush. The timed flush function can be adjusted on the panel without having to remove any components.

Normal heating - starts a timed flush, s moves away and the toilet will go through a sequence of intake and discharge modes ensuring maximum flushing of the bowl, the bowl refills to leave water in the bow
Water Saver- starts a flush toiletronometrated using half the water of a normal toilet flush. The bowl fills to leave water in the bowl.
Water only - adds additional water to the bowl without emptying the contents of the bowl. Allows the user to wet the bowl before use or fill the bowl to a certain level to minimize water consumption.
Empty only - allows the user to empty the bowl without using it. water. While the button is pressed the discharge pump operates, when released the pump stops.
