Networking

The Raymarine i70s allows connectivity to the following onboard networks:

First generation SeaTalk networks using a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng adapter cable
SeaTalkng networks from the current generation
NMEA2000 networks using a SeaTalkng to DeviceNet adapter
In addition to flexible networking capability, the i70s offers user-selectable data sources, for integration with networksmulti-sensor.

The advantage of wireless

The Micro-Talk gateway allows performance-minded sailors to take advantage of improved accuracy and installation convenience offered by Raymarine's solar-powered wireless wind transmitter options. It is now possible to use these ultra-lightweight and highly precise sensors with the Raymarine i60, i70 and i70s instrument systems. When used in conjunction with the optional Raymarine Wireless Mast Rotation Sensor, the em system can also provide highly accurate wind information aboard rotating mast sailboats, including wing sailboats. The mast rotation angle is also transmitted to the Raymarine LightHouse II (v17) multifunction displays.
