Speaker

The Ray90's built-in speaker will make you heard on the bridge and across the harbour. CConnect an optional call horn and make your presence known with 30-watt audio output and two-way response. When the situation becomes foggy, the speaker can also be set to automatically emit the fog signals required for power and sail boats underway and at anchor.

The Raymarine AIS700 is a system transceiver Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) designed for use with Raymarine multifunction navigation display systems. AIS is an international maritime navigation safety system that allows participating vessels to silently exchange key navigation information, including vessel name, identification, heading, speed, etc. AIS contacts can be displayed on Raymarine multifunction displays, chartplotters, radar displays and some instruments. As a Class B AIS transceiver, the AIS700 not only receives broadcasts from other vessels, but it also transmits your own boat's information, helping you to be seen on other vessels' systems as well. /p>

The AIS700 is designedusing the latest SO-TDMA (Self Organized Time Division Multiple Access) network technology which allows it to operate faster and at longer distances than previous generation AIS products. For ease of installation, the AIS700 has a built-in VHF band antenna splitter that allows it to share a single antenna with your current VHF radio. The AIS700 also has its own dedicated internal 72-channel GPS receiver with external antenna, as required by international standards.

The AIS700 also supports hardware and software silent mode. This allows you to temporarily restrict the broadcast of your vessel's data, while still receiving updates from surrounding traffic. Silent mode can be particularly useful when transiting waters where increased safety is a concern, or even in competitive tournament scenarios.f where you may want to prevent others from discovering the location of the hot bite. Normal AIS safety broadcasts can be easily restored by simply pressing the AIS controls on your Raymarine MFD or by flipping a switch for hardware silencer systems.

The AIS700 is super-compact for easy mounting inside your bar, in a service locker or other remote location. It can connect to your other in-car electronics using the latest NMEA2000 network. The AIS700 also has a built-in NMEA0183 multiplexer to make it easy to connect to older MFD and VHF radio systems. The AIS700 also has a built-in USB 2.0 connection that can be used to connect the transceiver to a computer or laptop running AIS compatible navigation software. The AIS700 has a Secure Digital (SD) memory slot which can be equipped with aOwner-supplied flash memory card for continuous recording of AIS data stream.
