Performance Speed sensors have been taken to the next level with the introduction of the ST900 speed/temperature sensor. Featuring the new Gen2 impeller, the ST900 outperforms all other impeller sensors in responsive start-up and linearity. The Gen2 impeller starts delivering precise gear ratios as low as 0.3 knots and maintains a smooth output speed up to 45 knots.

These low profile housings are nearly flush and minimize drag with only 5mm (3/16") extendingt outside the hull. The housing features a valve assembly that helps minimize water ingress into the bilge when the sensor is removed for routine impeller maintenance.

The new design of Airmar's new generation impeller offers industry-leading performance in terms of responsiveness and start-up linearity across the entire speed range. The Gen2 impeller maintains the top speed performance Airmar is known for and adds cranking speed performance that beats every other impeller available. The Gen2 paddlewheel is the most sensitive and precise paddlewheel available for sail and power boats.
