Inside, the Adapt XE packs cutting-edge technology. The Adapt XE takes off-road lighting performance to a whole new level with two levels of adaptive response to your bike and riding conditions. The first layer of adaptive response is RIGID's Active Power Management (APM) system which continuously monitors input voltage to determine the status of the vehicle's electrical system. If the voltage is stable, the Adapt XE will continue to use all available energy to give you the best possible performance. If the voltage available for lighting begins to drop due to low powerinsufficient, the RIGID APM system will gradually reduce the electricity consumption of the lighting until the bike's voltage stabilizes. The second layer of aptive response featured in the Adapt XE is RIGID's proven Active View technology. Using all three optical zones allows Active View technology to create the ideal beam pattern to meet the needs of cyclists. As vehicle speed changes, power is dynamically routed through various optical zones using scene optics for low speed, driving optics for moderate speed, and point optics for high speed driving . Power is transferred gradually between optical zones, allowing a seamless transition between beam patterns, providing much brighter, more natural light and reducing eye fatigue.
