Composite boom carts continue the design philosophy of the award-winning Ronstan BB and RT Orbit blocks, with virtually all metal components now replaced by high-tech polymers and fiber equivalents, the design of the. car has been modeled and optimized using finite element analysis and rapid prototyping techniques to achieve maximum strength-to-weight ratio. Features Orbit Block models use Dyneema bond that is 10 times stronger and more. light than steel,to ensure the hinged connection between the block and the car.

Integrated functionality
The clever 2-part bodywork is molded from a composite material which provides low friction on the alloy track without the need for separate inserts. It also offers the required mechanical strength without the disadvantages of weight and corrosion of metal parts. An integrated becket at the front end of the car is suitable for 2:1 listening systems and the removable threaded pin allows easy fitting of alternative blocks and accessories.

Low, compact profile
The sleek styling and positioning of the securing pin provides little rearward advance for the lead block. The Dyneema Link allows full articulation. The piston stop button has a flush finish and the contoured shape of the cabin eliminates the risk of snagging lines and sails.

Precise adjustment
TiltThe ergonomic piston stop combined with the low friction of the body allows easy adjustment with one hand. The rocker is located at the rear of the car for easy access from the cockpit on sport boats and small keelboats. An arrow is located on the side to indicate the position of the repeat stop settings table. A "Racing" track has 25 mm (63/64 in) stopper hole spacing for even more precise control of car position and sheeting angle.
