In new generation sensing bilge pumps, the 1100GPH 12V S Series pump operates on the principle of impeller resistance. The pump will turn on every 2 1/2 minutes for approximately one second to detect the presence of water. If water is present, the pump will detect resistance and continue to run until all water is removed. After that, it will start checking for water again every 2 1/2 minutes.

Water is controlled between 1/8" and 3/8"!!! Great idea when energy savings are needed and as an added benefit no float switch is needed!

All this plus the added benefits of our standard bilge pump:

Check valve included with hidden vent to prevent airlock
True electromagnetic suppression (EMC)
A integrated thermal cell which protects the pump and the container whend it's too hot
