Rule-Mate 500 Fully Automated Bilge Pump - 12V Marine Plumbing & Ventilation

The Rule-Mate bilge pump series features solid-state water sensing technology that eliminates the need for a separate float switch. When water enters the bilge and reaches a certain height, a 2-3/4-inch sensor turns on the pump. Once the water is pumped, another sensor stops the pump. The unique "field effect" technology of the sensors is environmentally friendly because they only detect the dielectric constant of water. In the event of an oil spill on board, pure engine oil entering the bilge will not operate the pump.
