It controls 26 listed lawn diseases, including brown patch, stem & stripe rust, red thread, powdery mildew, necrotic ring spot, and pink patch. Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide starts to work within 24 hours of application, and continues to control diseases up to 4 weeks. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 2 1/4 for the preventative rate or 3 3/4 for the curative rate. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 4 for the preventative rate or 5 1/2 for the curative rate. For Scotts Wizz, use a setting of 3 1/4 for the preventative rate or 4 for the curative rate. For best results, begin applications prior to disease symptoms, or when conditions are favorable for disease. It can be applied after seeding or at seed germination. The product may be reapplied at 14-28 day intervals.
