Ignition Safety Shutoff Switch

The Marine Emergency Stop Switch attaches to your life jacket when using a boat or boat. watercraft. Designed to instantly cut power to the battery when detached. The ignition version (gray cap) works in applications where the circuit is normally closed (complete) with a cord clip in place on the switch. When the cord is pulled and the clip is removed from the switch, the circuit is open (incomplete), causing ignition current to be interrupted and the engine to stop. The kill switch includes a coiled lanyard that measures approximately 15" when coiled and 48" when stretched, which must be replaced if worn, cut or frayed. Mounting hole is 5/8" in diameter. Maximum panel thickness: 5/8". Maximum draw of 5A. WARNING: The switch must be tested for proper operationioning before each use.
