Magnetic Safety Switch

The Marine Emergency Stop Switch attaches to your life jacket when operating a boat or personal watercraft. Designed to instantly cut power to the battery when detached. The magneto version (red cap) works in applications where the circuit is normally open (incomplete) with a cord clip in place on the switch. When the cord is pulled and the clip is removed from the switch, the circuit is closed (complete), allowing grounding to a suitable ground such as a ground block, the battery or an area appropriate on the engine itself. The kill switch includes a coiled lanyard that measures approximately 15" when coiled and 48" when stretched, which must be replaced if worn, cut or frayed. Mounting hole is 5/8" in diameter. Maximum panel thickness: 5/8". Maximum draw of 5A. WARNINGT: The switch should be tested for proper operation before each use.
