Designed to provide today's high-horsepower offshore tournament boats and other high-performance vessels with precise, smooth and reliable steering. This heavy-duty cylinder is designed to work with all new and existing SeaStar Teleflex and Seastar Solutions hydraulic helms, providing an instant steering upgrade for a wide variety of boats. Features a rugged design with heavy-duty mounts, barrel, shaft and seals, plus superior corrosion resistance for heavy-duty marine use. Each cylinder is universal, allowing for a variety of mounting configurations, with single, double or triple cylinder installations to match outboards on the transom. Independent purge fittings provide better and easier system bleeding compared to tee fittings, especially in multi-engine installations. Each cylinder is equipped with fittings cStainless steel ORB elbows that can be easily oriented in any direction for easy and clean installation of hydraulic steering hoses. Teleflex's new patent-pending pivo T-plate design is reversible from left to right and offers smooth articulation and sealed joints for superior performance.
The new Tournament Series Tie Bar features an exclusive design featuring an anodized aluminum body, stainless steel rod ends and an adjustable threaded design with a maximum stroke indicator. No cutting is required and pinch angles can be easily adjusted. Several engine configurations also require one or more tie rod kits. All configurations require a hardware kit.
