The SPOD is a pod for sailboats and catamarans. Developing Seaviews' modular mounting concept, Seaview has developed a sailboat pod design with a similar concept. There are five different box sizes to fit almost any chartplotter or instrument on the market. Seaview has designed the SPOD so that the rear. of each box has a continuous radius that matches the stainless steel pod clips. The result is a precise viewing angle during installation for the customer.equipped with steering racks from Jefa, Whitlock and Edson, and can be customized for other systems.

Stainless Steel Clamps

Stainless steel clamps attach to 1", 1.125" and 1.25" rails.

Security screws are used to hold the SPOD together. A watertight seal Water is used to prevent water from entering the interior of the pod, while a GORE-TEX ventilation vent allows warm air to escape without letting water in.
