Sharps Hi-Lux Optics Heavy Duty Base Adapter Gun Scopes Sporting Goods

This Hi-Lux Optics Sharps Heavy-Duty Base Adapter is designed for the Long Malcolm scope only. Due to the heavy recoil of muzzleloader rifles, the Malcolm 6X long scope must be securely mounted to the rifle so that it does not move when shooting. If your rifle is pre-drilled, you can use the existing holes if they fit the hole pattern on the heavy-duty base adapter. Otherwise, two holes must be drilled and tapped into the receiver in order to install this base adapter. This base adapter is included with the Wm. Malcolm 6X Long Telescopic Sight. Due to the various receiver screw sizes, the base screws are not included. However, the most common screw sizes are 6-48, 8-40, and 8-32.
