The MiniPlex-3 series NMEA multiplexers include a range of advanced NMEA multiplexers that combine data from multiple navigation instruments.

A bi-directional SeaTalk1 interface allows conversion between SeaTalk1 data and NMEA 0183 sentences. This conversion works both ways, allowing the MiniPlex-3 to replace the SeaTalk-NMEA bridge of Raymarine (E85001) 0183 and SeaTalk1 datagrams in all directions.
All data is available on one or more computer interfaces in NMEA 0183 format. NMEA 2000 PGN and SeaTal datagramsk for which no NMEA 0183 equivalent exists can be converted to special NMEA 0183 sentences, allowing software developers to support processing of raw NMEA 2000 data and SeaTalk data.
Each port d A MiniPlex-3 multiplexer is galvanically isolated from the internal electronics and all other ports. This ensures that no ground loop will be created when adding a MiniPlex-3 to a navigation network. It also ensures trouble-free connection to any type of NMEA 0183 port on any device.
MiniPlex-3 multiplexers are all functionally identical but differ in the type and number of computer interfaces.
E85001 PC/SeaTalk/NMEA 0183 Interface Module Replacement - The Raymarine E85001 PC/SeaTalk/NMEA 0183 Interface Module was removed several years ago. Raymarine has not introduced a replacement for this device. The Shipmodul 1131, 1132, 1133, 1135, 1136 and1137 feature a two-way SeaTalk 1 interface that allows conversion between SeaTalk1 data and NMEA 0183 sentences. This conversation works both ways, allowing MiniPlex-3 units to replace Raymarine's discontinued SeaTalk - NMEA E85001 bridge. /p>
