It resists exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze and salt water. This hose is resistant to abrasion and odor permeation. It now has double the ozone resistance required by SAEJ2006. Shieldsflex II is primarily used for engine intake, wet exhaust connections (use where elbows or long lengths are required), bilge pump inlet/discharge, scupper lines, toilet intake/discharge and holding tank aeration/pump. Temperature ranges from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to +200 degrees Fahrenheit continuously, +250 degrees Fahrenheit intermittently.
