Plug-and-play connectors facilitate easy installation, minimizing the wiring needed to install your battery systemautomatic note. Standard NMEA 2000 networking provides simple connectivity to heading sensors, steering feedback units and multifunction displays located anywhere on board.
Hydraulic and par steering options cable
The NAC-1 autopilot computer is recommended for boats up to 9 meters (30 feet) in length. It is designed to reliably drive either the Simrad PUMP-1 reversible hydraulic pump for hydraulically steered outboards or the HELM-1 drive unit for cable-steered vessels.
Virtual Rudder Feedback
Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology eliminates the need to install a separate rudder feedback unit onboard outboard and inboard boats. Z-drive (inboard/outboard) with planing hull. This reduces the overall cost and complexity of the autopilot system and is ideal when a unifeedback tee is not practical due to mechanical constraints.
Minimum product requirements:
One drive One unit, one heading sensor, A NMEA 2000 network and compatible autopilot controller or multifunction display are required to create a complete autopilot system. Some vessels may also require a rudder feedback unit.
