The radio can be configured to scan any number of channels with or without a priority channel or can simply be configured to scan between a priority channel and another channel (dual watch). Features a lithium-ion battery providing up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge. Designed for heavy-duty commercial use, with a 700mW internal speaker, receiving clear radio transmissions in a noisy environment is no longer a problem. Ten NOAA and Canadian Weather channels are pre-programmed and easily selectable using the dedicated WX button. Additionally, can be configured to monitor WX channels and provide an audible alert to inform of pending storm advisories.
